Johnell Garmany has championed the next generation of retail and philanthropy, combined with traditional and modern vision devoted to his father's legacy, Larry Garmany. The award-winning clothing store Garmany was founded by Johnell's father over 45 years ago, first in NYC and then, for the past 30 years in Red Bank, N.J., where Johnell grew up in the business. In 2015, Larry Garmany suddenly passed away from Melanoma, leaving the store in the hands of Johnell. He is an example of perseverance and passion by upholding one of the top private retail establishments in the country, and prides himself on sincerity and style. His social contributions are on point with his father's kindness and treats everyone like family. He is honored to represent the American Cancer Society as this year’s event honoree to support other lives that have been impacted by cancer. Johnell resides in Monmouth County with his wife Stefanie and their three daughters Ariana, Liana and Gia.
