Inspired to donate their medical expertise, Dr. David Silverstrom and Dr. Gary Silverstrom established the Smiles for Life Award in 2014. Each year The Silverstrom Group bestows a cosmetic dental makeover worth $25,000 to a cancer survivor. The ravages of radiation therapy and chemotherapy destroy the mouth. The Smiles for Life Award rehabilitates mouth functionality, restores confidence and renews self-esteem—truly creating a smile that speaks volumes. Each year the “smile reveal” takes place at the American Cancer Society’s Diamond Ball.
"It feels so much better to just smile and feel more confident. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, it is so deeply, deeply appreciated. I don’t know how to express the gratitude that I feel and the kindness that I feel when I come here. It’s just amazing," 2016 Smiles for Life Awardee.
This year marks The Silverstrom Group’s 5th Annual Smiles for Life Award, and Drs. David and Gary have chosen two cancer survivors to receive a smile makeover!
